The new Free adobe is treating all scanned text PDF as image.
How do I stop this in the free adobe.
And when selecting read, it tells me page empty.
When I serached, the solution has to do with OCR and the new adobe, the function to work around this issue has been moved to adobe pro.

There is no "new Free adobe".
The "old" Acrobat Reader never had this feature, which is only found in Acrobat Pro.

Hi JR Boulay,
My apologies, maybe I didn't explain it properly.
I recently installed the most recent version of Free Adobe Acrobat reader. That's when I started having the problem of scanned PDF text /entire page turning blue when I click. I have never had this problem before.
I use Fuji Xerox machine to scan documents as PDF.
Can you please help?
Why would scanned text/page with zero image turn blue when clicking.
