No pdf preview in Windows 10 Explorer anymore

Since a bit more than a week, suddenly in Windows 10 Explorer preview, pdf's don't show up anymore.

What can I do to get them displayed again?

Hello Peters,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with PDF preview, please check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader.

Repair the installation files of Adobe Reader from help>repair installation, reboot the machine and see if this makes any difference.

Navigate to Adobe Reader's Preferences and disable the Protected mode from Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced).

Note: Disabling the Protected mode is only for testing purpose, please enable it back.

If the issue still persists, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install the latest version of Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

I'm sorry but it did'nt work for me. still dont see my preview pdf file

Thank you ever so much, Anand! The repair worked and my previews are now working again.

Thank you so much! Now, if I can only get my Windows 10 to open PDFs with my Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, I'll really be happy; But for now, preview works and I am thrilled! Thanks again.
