Not able to edit PDF

If I open an adobe document why am I not able to edit that exact document?  It seems I need to download it into the pdf pack before I can do anything?

Do I need to download my document into the pdf pack to edit it if the original document is an adobe pdf?

Hi theresal71602073,

I see that you have the Adobe PDF Pack subscription.

You cannot edit PDF with Adobe PDF Pack.

Please refer the help document for more information on Adobe PDF Pack: FAQ | Adobe PDF Pack 

You need Adobe Acrobat DC subscription to edit the PDF. PDF editor, edit text in PDF files | Adobe Acrobat DC
