Now in English: Hello, I would like to be able to open my different .pdf files from a command prompt or in another way that you would suggest to me not to pass necessarily by Opening of Acrobat Reader, Opening of the file. The optimal way would be to allow me to pin my file directly on the bottom bar (Windows 10)

Hello Romainb,

Can you provide more detail on the query/issue you have? Do you want to open Adobe PDF files through command line process?

If yes, you may use the following example to open a PDF file from a location:

Sample Command:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader DC\Reader> .\AcroRd32.exe /a "page=50" "c:\test.pdf"

The designed behavior to open a PDF file is to either open the Adobe Reader application, then choose File>Open, Or double-click the PDF file and it will open in Adobe Reader if the default PDF viewer is set as Adobe Reader.

Or right-click on the PDF file and choose open with>Adobe Reader.

And this designed behavior cannot be changed.

You may refer and to the following Adobe articles for further information Adobe Acrobat Reader DC FAQs

Feel free to update this thread for any further assistance.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
