Latest update moves page up/down arrows around based on page number/name length. Is there a way to stop them from moving around?

Is this an oopsy on Adobe's part that'll get patched?

See .gif file below showing the problem. System Info below that.

Hello there!

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, please install the latest patch of Adobe Reader version 2019.008.20080 from help>check for updates, or manually from 19.008.20080 Optional update, October 22, 2018 — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Reboot the machine and see if that helps.

Is it specific to one PDF or with all the PDF files?

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

I've installed Adobe Reader version 2019.008.20080 and rebooted. The problem persists.

I've tested it with other files and the result is the same. Any files with long page numbers moves the up/down arrows as the pages change.

Hi @David27350548ybk1

Sorry for the delay in response.

You mentioned that it's Adobe Acrobat Reader you have been using to Organize pages. There might be some confusion, as Acrobat Reader is a freeware that doesn't allow you to use these features.

Please take a screenshot of the Help>About Adobe Acrobat, where it shows the exact version.

Also, share a sample pdf file to test this behavior.

You can upload the file on Document Cloud web https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/ and share the link with us here.

Oh my god. I never said I have adobe reader. That was literally another person who was assuming that for some reason.

Why can't anyone just know that this problem is real and fix it? Do we really need to squabble about the specific program I'm using? I even gave the full version number of my continuous release version

"I have a continuous release Version 2022.003.20282." - Me, almost 2 weeks ago in this very thread.

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro. I can't send you an example PDF because they are real client documents. Just change the lable on any page and you'll see the arrows move back and forth. This isn't a secret problem. Googling it will reveal that a lot of people have it.

The original post on this thread even posted a link to a .gif of the behavior in action.
