Password protected error when uploading a PDF

Hello,

Am unable to upload a bank statement, it gives me the error that the file is password protected, even though it isn't. July to Decemeber, all statements I am able to upload easily except for the September statement. File propoerties do not show any password protection too, please can someone help resolve?

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, you are unable to upload a bank statement, it gives you the error that the file is password protected even though it not password protected. 

What is the version of the Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing to upload the PDF file? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

Also please share the PDF file in question so that we can check it at our end (https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html)
