Hello Sinimiii,

We're sorry for the trouble you had while opening a PDF file in Adobe Reader.

Try resetting the Adobe Reader's Preferences once and reboot the machine, to reset the Preferences, refer to the steps mentioned in the article How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

Is it specific to one PDF or is it with all the PDF files? What is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

What is the version of OS installed?

You can also refer and try the suggestions from the following Adobe article Can't open PDF

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
