PDF files

I am having an issue where the Adobe Reader prompts "Do you want to save the change" without modifying or making a change. And, then it took me to "choose a different folder" and then asks me " This file already exists, do you want to replace it". This happens with all Adobe filles after I downloaded I new Adobe Acrobat. Any idea? Any help?
