Hi everyone,

I have a problem that has recently developed between PDFs sent from a Windows machine to my Apple High Sierra machine the I hope you all can hep me with.

I do documents that require two signature validation. My counterpart can sign his document first on his Windows machine, but when I receive it on my Mac via Outlook and try to sign it, I get the following messages below:

I can't find any solutions anywhere for this, and it didn't start until two days ago. Before there was no problems with signing documents sent from a Windows machine and vice versa.

Please Help!

Hello Roberth,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with the PDF while signing it on your Mac machine, please check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader on Mac from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader to the latest version 2018.011.20063.

After updating Adobe Reader, try signing the PDF file and check.

Is it specific to one PDF or you are getting the error message on all the PDF files while signing? If you have downloaded the file, try downloading it again. If you created the file yourself, try creating it again from the original source. That may be all you need to do to solve this problem.

Try saving the PDF file as "Save As" and check. Try signing any other PDF after downloading it to the local machine, open it in Adobe Reader and sign and see if it throws the same error.

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
