How can I access PDF meta data in Adobe Acrobat Reader 2022?

If by "access" you mean "view" then you can do it via File - Properties - Description, as well as the Custom tab, which will show custom metadata properties.
If you mean "edit" then you can't do it with the free Reader.

Thanks, but there is no File - Properties - Description that I can find in the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader that I was using. I looked for those breadcrumbs over and over and finally gave up and uninstalled the program.

You can access it with ctrl-d or cmd-d.

Thank you - ctrl-d worked. I re-installed Reader to try it out. Apparently the File - Properties - Description path is no longer valid and should be replaced in the help document web page.

Reader can't remove metadata info anyway. You must have Acrobat for that.

When you have the Reader with the new UI use the hamburger menu.
