PDF Opens Above the Screen View

Each time I open a pdf (not one, all of them), it opens above the screen view. I'm constantly having to resize each pdf and cannot acces File, Edit, View, Close Out ("X"), etc. without resizing. If I resize and then save the file, it will move the file back above the window screen. It's not a preference change and I don't want to open documents in Reader, I need to edit them. Can someone create a fix for this? I see I'm not the only person having this issue, but none of the "work arounds" listed fix the issue.

Top of the screen looks like this:

Hi there

We are glad to hear that reboot fixed it. If the issue reoccurs you may also go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > Page Display > Under Resolution toggle between system settings and custom resolution > Click OK and reboot the application and check.

Amal

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, the PDFs open above the screen view

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version 21.07.20095 (Win), 21.07.20096 (Mac) installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, please share the video recording of the issue for a better understanding?

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and see if that makes any difference.

You may also go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > Page Display > Under Resolution toggle between system settings and custom resolution > Click OK and reboot the application and check.

Regards

Amal

It's the current version of Pro DC. The reboot fixed it, but it will only correct it reverted when I downloaded a pdf online. Is there a way to stop it from reverting if another pdf carries other settings with it?

This keeps reverting back to opening up above the screen. Is there a way to permanently fix this? The fix typically only last about 30 min to an hour and then it reverts back (really frustrating when you work with a lot of pdf files).
