Hi,
I have multiple PDF documents on my pc. All of them open with Acrobat Reader DC. One of the documents opens at page 4 and I have no idea why. All the others open with doubleclick at page 1. I mean it's not a big deal but I would like to understand it. ^^
Are there settings in the reader to specify the pagenumber, which is opened for just one document? Or does the setting have do be implemented in the PDF-document itself? If you have an answer please let me know.
Kind regards
Kai
There is such a setting in the file itself, but it can't be changed using Reader. If you share the file (using Dropbox, Google Drive, Adobe Cloud, etc.) I could let you know if that's the issue.
Another option is that you have the option to restore the last view settings enabled. That means that if you close the document when page 4 is displayed it will also display it the next time you open it. If that's the case you can disable it under Edit - Preferences - Documents.
