PDF's in Sharepoint Won't Open in File Explorer

I can't open PDFs in adobe reader DC from my sharepoint drive in file explorer. My computer loads for a second and does nothing, and my coworker's computer gets "There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found." I can open the PDF in Sharepoint in a web browser, and i can open the PDF with Adobe Reader Touch. I can also open it with Adobe reader DC if the file is on my desktop. Is there anyone else having this problem when the files are stored on a network? Is this an issue with sharepoint or with Adobe?

The problem was the length of the file name. The PDF file name surpassed some kind of character limit or had some problematic characters.
