PDF Submit form not working in web

I have a interactive PDF created in Indesign with a button to submit form (PDF the complete document) to a email address. In Adobe Reader or Pro DC it works perfectly. On the adobe web plugin  (Both Chrome & Edge) there is the below  message, when you click connect this erroe appears.

Form data cannot be submitted to provided server

Display of PDF files in Edge and Chrome is handled by Edge or Chrome, not Adobe apps. So you really need to ask the people who support these products. But submitting to email is not considered a good idea, you need to submit to a professionally created https web script.
