Hi, I have a question about the difference plug-in between Adobe Acrobat Reader XI and DC.

I have always received the reports as pdf files.

However, for the one report that I received, I found that the file was corrupted and half of it was colored in gray. (I opened it with the Adobe Acrobat Reader XI.)

When I just opened it with Chrome browser, it was readable and clear. (When I opened it with Mozilla Firefox, it was unclear and corrupted like I did with Adobe Acrobat Reader XI.)

Since I found the information that the Chrome browser provides the PDF plugin, I decided to change the PDF viewer.

I downloaded and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, and I reopened file. In this time, I could see the right information with PDF file and I can read it clearly.

The curious things are that :

1. Since I just got the problem with only one report, I don't think that the Adobe Acrobat Reader XI has the problem for displaying the files. Then, what was the cause of the problem?

2. If the report was created with failure, then why could I see the clear file with the Chrome browser or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? Does the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC have more functions to save the corrupted files?

3. I saw that more than 52.0 version of Mozilla Firefox does not support pdf plugin anymore. Does it take an effect on my issue when I opened the pdf files with Mozilla Firefox?

Thank you in advance.
