Print button doesn't work if PDF opened in IE and Enable Protected Mode at Startup is enabled

Pretty much what the title says.

 

If a PDF is opened in IE by Adobe Reader the print button doesn't work if "Enable Protected Mode at startup" is enabled. I tried just disabling "Run in AppContainer", but that didn't help.

 

Interestingly I can leave "Enabled Enhanced Security" turned on and it works.

 

Running Windows 10 2004 and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 20.012.20043.

 

What I've tried:

 - Uninstalling through Control panel and re-installing

 - Running the Adobe Removal tool and re-installing

Neither helped.

 

Thoughts?
