Hello,

Our company is using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (newest version) with a Terminal server Windows Server 2012 R2 to print PDF's. For a while we have the problem that the print dialogue opens after roughly 8 seconds (this should be 1-2 seconds) after clicking "print".

We know for sure that the printers are all on the right network and can be found, there is no problem there.

We have tried whitelisting the filepath in the security(advanced) tab, this didn't work.

In other applications, like Word, this works flawless.

Is there anything we could try to speed up the print dialogue?

Thank you in advance,

Ramon

Hi Ramon,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Are you still facing this issue? Check if Reader is updated to the latest patch by clicking check for updates under help menu. You may also download updates manually using this link: Adobe software and product updates

Also, check if 'let printer determine colors' is checked under Advanced section.

Below is the screenshot:

Thanks,

Shivam
