Printing an A3 booklet

Hi, I wish to print a 5 page PDF as a booklet. The PDF is A4, my printer is loaded with A3 paper and I want to print the document onto the A3 paper so that the pages, when everything is folded, form a booklet with each page of the booklet being A4. Sorry to labour the description!

What is happening is that the document prints in the right orientation, but the fourth page is blank. 

I have successfully managed to print a different document with 15 sides of A4 in exactly the same way! Of course tried copying the print options exactly, but the 5 pager does not do the business!

Any ideas?

I have tried 2-sided printing = On but no difference.

It is an Epson WF7830 printer with A3 and A4 trays.
