The attached pdf file (main.pdf) does not print properly using Adobe Acrobat Reader (version in subject line) under Windows 11 and Windows 10 (both desktops), but surprisingly, it is printed properly on my laptop running Windows 10. While the file is displayed on screen ok, when printed extra (or not enough) vertical space is inserted, messing up the page formatting. In this simple example the footnote and the page number appears in the middle of the page instead of at the bottom.
Given the fact that the problem does not appear on my laptop, I suspect there might be some clash between the latest version of Adobe Reader and Windows PDF printer drivers.
The file prints without problems under iOS (iPhone), MacOS (Mac Mini), and Linux (Ubuntu). It also prints without problems under Windows using a browser (Edge or Google Chrome), or using another PDF Reader like Slim PDF Reader 2.0.

What is the point of this forum if obvious bugs are ignored?
Adobe invented PDF, yet Acrobat reader is the ONLY app that fails to print
this simple PDF file correctly under Windows 11. Even free apss like
Slim PDF Reader 2.0 do not have problems.

Is there another way to report bugs?

Thanks for highlighting this issue. To further investigate this, please share the following details:
1- Screenshot of the Print dialog to check the current settings
2- Please collect the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html share them by uploading to cloud storage (any)
Procmon Logs:

Meanwhile,
1- Update your printer drivers and firmware
2- Install the latest/pending windows update
Thanks,

I have installed the latest updates for Windows 11.
Images of the Acrobat Reader screen (with main.pdf loaded) and of the print dialog are attached.
I managed to run the Log_Collector, but I cannot attach the resulting ZXP file (not sure how to upload to cloud).
Note that the page is formatted correctly in both previews. But when printed there is an offset so that the page number that should be at the bottom is closer to the middle of the page. Looks like the bounding box for the entire page is wrong (it is small).
If I load main.pdf into Google Chrome (using URL file:///c:/home/main.pdf) and print it using Chrome there are no formatting issues. If I copy the file to Ubuntu Linux and print it, no issues.

For additional context, main.pdf was generated from LaTeX files using pdflatex.

Summary of Acrobat Reader bug: main.pdf (attached above) prints without formatting problems under MacOS and Linux, and under Windows 11 if I use an app other than Acrobat Reader (or use the Chrome or Edge browser). The print preview in Acrobat Reader looks good, but when printed there are formatting problems (entire page is sized incorrectly). The printer used is HP M401dne for all tests. The file main.pdf was created using pdflatex to process LaTeX files.

These recommendations presume that the problem is on my side. Did you try to print main.pdf to see if the problem can be reproduced on your side?
