Brother printer says in order to print documents in both legal and letter at the same time you must use adobe to do so. Printing has not worked, the doucments are not scaled correctly or are completly missing information.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs that you try to print? Please try with a different PDF file and check.
What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and make sure you have the latest version 20.009.20074 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates.
Also, please check for any missing/pending updates for printer driver and firmware and try updating them and see if that works for you.

You may also try to print the PDF as image and see if that helps. Go to print > Advanced > Print as image
