Hi !
When I have an email (for example) with 10 pdf files and I try to print I only can print the email and two pdf files. The remain pdf files gives the error "There was an error openig this document". This file cannot be found.
If I put all pdf files on a folder and try to print all of them from the folder no problem !
What is the solution ?
I tried several:
- Disable enhanced security;
- on the registry: -Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\Attachments\ FileTrackIdle - put the value 5000
- reinstalled Acrobat Reader DC.
nothing solves the problem !
Can someone help ?
Thanks,
José Santos

Sorry to hear about the trouble caused, and thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps performed.
This was a known issue with Microsoft Office, and a hotfix was provided then.
As PDF documents are printing fine when downloaded locally. We must check if Office is updated or if Outlook needs re-setup.
Check if there's any pending update available for Outlook. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/-there-was-an-error-opening-this-document-the-selected-fil...

Just chiming in that we are seeing this as well. Current Outlook 365 and Acrobat Pro. System print from Outlook will attempt to open each attachment in Acrobat, Acrobat fails with an error "Can't find file" or something similar. If previewing the pdf, can print. If downloaded attachment locally, can print. Am using default printer and "print all attachments" option in Outlook. Have not yet tried disabling security and regfix.

Hi José! i'm wondering if you tried the webbrowser outlook.office.com or Outlook.com and from there one tried to print to PDF as described in this article: https://365tips.be/en/how-to-save-a-word-document-as-a-pdf/

This problem still exists. Any updates on fixes? work-arounds?
