Hello,
When i'm trying to send a mail from adobe acrobat reader DC (version 2018.009.20050) it opens a new mail message and the PDF gets attached but when I type in a body for the mail and send it, the body of the mail doesn't show on the receivers end. The pdf is received and the pictures of the signature are also shown in the attachment section but nothing of the actual text is received. I tried it with an outlook 2010 version and there it works normally. Also when I attach a pdf the normal way (not directly from adobe reader) it works as expected.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Rudys,
There shouldn't be a any problem sending the document using email, unless you haven't have any specific security settings applied to your email client.
Would it be possible to share the format of the email received at the receiver's end? Or a video clip that would help us understanding what exactly happening when you are sharing file using "Email" option of Reader DC?

You have also mentioned about Outlook 2010, did you configure Outlook 2010 in Reader DC as default email?
As a work around, you may try repairing the installation. Launch- Acrobat Reader>Help>Repair Installation.
Share more information on this to help you in better manner.

Thanks Akanchha for answering.
I don't think I have any specific security settins set. And in Outlook 2010 sending the mail from adobe works. I've attached the screenshots with the steps I'm doing. If you want the format of the mail, I can send you an email if you give me a mailadres.
First step: I Just click the Envelop.
Second step: Clicking "send file"
Third step: I click continue.
Fourth step: A mail gets drafted I add a body and to mailadres.
Fifth step: I receive the mail with the PDF Attached but without the body.
Thanks in advance for answering,
Regards,
Rudys

Got the same exact fact pattern expect I am using Adobe Standard XI, but the same results.
If you save the email (in drafts) and then send the body of the email is then included.
Tried repairing both Office 2016 and Adobe with no success.

Two installations of office 365 with outlook 2016, two identical problem. I don't know if is a Microsoft or Adobe problem, but using "send email" in word or excel the message is ok !!!
