Problem reading text in formfields with scroll-bar

I have in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (version 20064) created formfields with scroll-bar to give the possibility to enter more text in the fields, but when the users without Pro version open the document they do not see the scroll-bar. They can only see the text in the field an not the extra text that the scroll-bar would reveal. How can this be solved, so that the users without Pro verison can see all the text in the fields with scroll-bar?

The users can use Acrobat Reader DC.

Be sure that users "without Pro version" uses Acrobat Reader, and not a web browser or a low-end PDF viewer.
