Problem with saving documents

I have been running into a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I usually make notes in the PDF files, however, the "Save as" option or "Save" does not work to save the changes I have made in a document. I have tried uninstalling and installing, yet this is too tenuous process, and I have also checked if update is needed, there is no update available. Please help me in resolving this issue as soon as possible. Without saving the changes, I can't save my notes

Hi Divergence,
You mentioned above that you are not able to save the documents.
Please make sure that the document is not secured. Open the PDF and go to File > Properties > Security.
Check the Document Restrictions Summary
If you get the blank "Save as" window, please try the steps provided below:
- Launch the application and go to Edit menu > Preferences > General.
- Unmark the box for "Show online storage when saving files".
- Click on the OK tab at the bottom of the preferences window to save the changes.
- Then try to Save as the PDF.
