problem with updates

After the automatic update on 7/14, I couldn't print .pdf's.  I tried rebooting the printer and computer (Win10 PC) )(Canon MB2720)and nothing.  I tried reader repair, no help.  Uninstalled and then installed current version.  It looks like it tries to open, but doesn't.  Now totally inoperable.

If yes, would you mind sharing the file with us for further investigation?  A screenshot of the error would be great if there is an error message. You might also want to check if the drivers for the printer are up to date. I tried the link, but the site came up as malicious, so I didn't dare go further.

I don't have any screenshots as th Reader just won't open t\at all.

This is the official site of Canon providing the drivers. You can proceed to the website without any issues. 

 

Also, the reader is not opening, do you get any errors? Please share a screenshot or screen recording of the event for better understanding.
