Thanks for sharing the screenshot.

The border of the pdf file opened in Acrobat has been duplicated. Is it just this file doesn't open correctly, or does every file you open in the app?

Try these steps:

1- Close Acrobat Reader

2- Open task manager>select Acrobat Reader instances running in the background and End Task

3- relaunch the app, and if it still doesn't work, then

• Acrobat>help>repair installtion

• Navigate to Reader>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Startup" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Reboot Reader.

• At last, you can give it a try by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

• Run this cleaner tool to remove the existing installer and application’s file traces:

• Download the Acrobat Reader installer from here: 

  https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/get-started.html
