Problemi installazione Adobe reader DC x W10

Non riesco ad installare correttamente Adobe reader dc nuova versione.

Dopo avere disinstallato la precedente, la procedura richiamata da internet parte regolarmente, scarica la app???.exe e parte la installazione.

Al termine si ferma con l'errore :"nuova versione già installata" (??). La installazione termina senza risultato.

Ho provato sia da Chrome (correttamente configurato) che da Edge. Stesso risultato .
Che fare?

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, please reboot the machine once, then use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove any corrupt or conflicting installation files of Adobe Reader from the machine Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine again and install Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Once Adobe Reader is installed, go to help menu>click on check for updates, and install the latest patch of Adobe Reader 19.008.20074

Ciao Anand Sri,

Grazie per la collaborazione.

Ho eseguito i passi indicati sino alla nuova installazione.

Che però si è bloccata dandomi l'errore : "Impossibile scrivere il valore della chiave \software\classes\launchreader\shell\open..... ecc. ecc."

Così per più altri valori sinché ho interrotto l'installazione.

Ripetuta, per eccesso di sicurezza, come Administrator, ha dato lo stesso risultato.
