"Restore last view settings" setting works only with some files

Hi,

I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (Version 2021.011.20039) on a Mac.

I have many pdfs on my laptop. The "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" setting (it is checked) works only with some files.

Some files remember the last view settings and some don't (they always open the first page).

How can I fix this?
