upgraded my Acrobat

now using Acrobat DC

Need the read out loud function to work on a PDF document

was working a couple days ago and works on other documents.

it now wont read it out loud at all for whatever reason.

still reading other docs.

why this one?

when i click "read the page only" it goes on and on saying underscrore.....underscore...underscore...underscore.....and just keeps repeating that forever.

very frustrating as I need this as my eye site is not the best

I'm having a similar problem. It is not reading text at all. I'm just getting "warning, empty page". The page is not empty.

This is a community forum. There is no tech support from Adobe for free products.

From what you say, this file has lots of underscores. For example, maybe someone drew a line across the top with 50 underscores. Unfortunately, that's what Reader will see.

that is true. but before I was able to select a paragraph and it would read it out properly.

now it wont do that at all

the only way it will read it is if I do the whole page and it doesnt read it well when I do this as well.

I dont get it.
