Read out loud not working

I have windows 10 and when i go to use my adobe reader outload reader it acts as though it is going to work but then i hear nothing. Please help....

Please refer the steps provided in this help link to activate and start the Read out loud. Accessibility features, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

It seems that you are only activating the Read out loud option. You also need to select a method for reading that document.
