Reader crashes when selecting Next Page

New Here ,
Jan 11, 2017 Jan 11, 2017

When you are reviewing PDFs in file explorer, with the preview window, if you right click over the previewed image and select next page Reader crashes.  You can push next page arrow at bottom of the preview and scroll without it crashing.  You just cannot do anything in the preview with right click and it not crash.

I have re-installed Reader on the first machine and it didnt help.

I have tried multiple documents with same outcome.

I happens on multiple machines-Windows 7 Pro and Windows Server 2008 R2.

It works fine on Windows 10 machine.

Adobe Reader DC 2015.023.20053

Thanks in advance.

Hi DrDroopy15,

Apologies for the delayed response.

Please try the repair installation of the application on the system you referred to its not working.

Also, if that does not help, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the application with the Adobe cleaner tool.

You may refer to the link below for the same:

Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Let me know if the issue still persists.

Thanks,

Supriya
