Reader DC opmerking toevoegen is vergredeld

New Here ,
Jun 15, 2018 Jun 15, 2018

Hallo,

It seems that the locked property is set a sdefault and this is the reason you are not able to change it. Try repairing the Adobe Reader from help>repair installation. Reboot the machine after repair.

If the issue persists, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install Adobe Reader back from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Hello Wilbertevs,

As per the description above, I can understand that you are not able to add text note in a PDF, Is that correct?

Are you referring to the "Add Text comment" in Comment tool? Is it possible to share a screenshot of the error/issue you are getting? To share a screenshot, please refer to https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

Right Click and Choose Properties to open the Text Field Properties dialog box, and make sure that "Locked"  option is unchecked.

Does this happen with all the PDF files or is it specific to one PDF file? Check that whether the "Commenting" is allowed or not for a specific PDF, navigate to Document's Properties from File>Properties>Security and check the Commenting section.

Also, make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed, check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing any updates.

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

Hello Anand Sri,

Thank you for your answer. he sais their are no updates. i have the latest version.

The "locked" checkbox is checked but i can't uncheck this. This is posible for the text with the red line but not fot the function without the red line. this is with all my PDF files. it doesn't matter witch one i open it is always the same.
