I have reviewed the Protected Mode: Unsupported configuration FAQ (Protected Mode troubleshooting | Adobe Reader)... yet, I cannot find how I may allow Adobe Reader DC to open in protected mode?

I am using the following:

     1)  MS Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) Intel i5, 750 @ 2.67GHz, 16 GB RAM.

     2)  COMODO Firewall 8.4.0.5165 (AcroRd32.exe has been added to the approved Application Rules)

     3)  Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition

     4)  MalwareBytes Premium 3.0.6

Thank you, in advance.

The problem may have been caused by conflict between Adobe and Malwarebytes. One day after installing this antimalware on my computer, I tried to open an acrobat reader document, and a dialog box appeared that said: “Adobe Acrobat reader DC cannot open in Protected Mode due to a problem with your system configuration..." The solution, then, seems to be to unistall either Malwarebytes or Adobe Acrobat, or, as someone in an Adobe blog suggested,

"You can disable protected mode for an immediate workaround. Then ensure your anti-virus software is up-to-date and check with your anti-virus provider if there is another solution to this problem (perhaps by setting Adobe Acrobat/Reader as a safe application in the anti-virus software)." I myself have not yet decided what to do.
