Hi there!

I am sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, please refer and try the suggestion from the following help article Error 1722 with Windows installer package of Acrobat DC

Assuming you are on Windows 7 machine, download and install the update for C runtime in Windows, refer to the following URL for obtaining the Windows update https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/2999226/update-for-universal-c-runtime-in-windows

Reboot the machine and try installing Adobe Reader and check Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Hi Deveshjain,

We are sorry for not being able to response to your query on time.

If you are still experiencing the same problem, then you may try the following steps-

  • You need to find the "Program Data" folder which is generally a hidden folder and you need to enable it. Windows settings differs depending on the OS.

How to enable "Hidden Files" please refer to- https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files

  • Enabling hidden files will enable the Program Data and its location would be Local Dick (C:) > ProgramData > Adobe > Setup.
  • Open the folder and check if you can find the AcroRead.msi file there.
  • If yes, run the file to install the application.

Let us know if this helps.

Regards,

Akanchha
