Windows Vista is not in the list under select an operating system on the download page for reader. How can I get reader for Vista or is another operating system compatible with vista for the download?

That's because they no longer support Reader for Vista. You can try the .exe file found here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.0.0/en_US/

Those running Windows Vista never seem to search the forum before asking a question that has already been answered dozens of times. I also have an old PC running Vista, and I would never even consider using the ancient version of Adobe Reader that you have just installed. My January 11 reply to Windows vista missing in the free acrobat download system selection might prove enlightening.

Well, I wouldn't consider running Vista either so...
