Lately, when I try to view or open a PDF file on a website (my bank statement, for instance), a new tab opens on Edge, and sometimes it shows the PDF for about 2 seconds, and then goes to a "this page is having problems" message, and sometimes it just never shows up at all.
This is the message I get on Edge:
We tried to load this page for you a few times, but there is still a problem with this site. We know you have better things to do than to watch this page reload over and over again so try coming back to this page later.

I thought perhaps i needed to download a later version of Reader, but when I did, it said my computer already had the latest version. Help?
Microsoft has LOCKED both Internet Explorer and Edge, so YOU may not update Reader, you must use the version that Microsoft includes
