Reader not working in Windows 10 after Pro Trial

Since a 3-day trial of Acrobat Pro and cancellation and removal of that product, I am no longer able to open and see any PDFs.  I tried re-downloading the Acrobat reader for Windows 10 yet am unable to.  Can anyone suggest a fix in order to be able to view pdfs?  Thank you.

Please use the Acrobat Cleaner tool to remove the currently installed app along with the files responsible for the activation, reboot the device, and install the freeware Acrobat Reader.
