I have the full version of Acrobat Pro installed on my computer but I'd like to also have a copy of Acrobat Reader. I'm wanting to suggest some changes in a proofing process with a client and they would need to use Reader. I need to see how it functions before I suggest it.

I've downloaded the installer (AcroRdrSCADC2400520400_MUI.dmg) but I get the attached error messages during the install process that appears to tell me that it won't install because I already have a better pdf reader. (pics attached)

Thanks for any input.

Unfortunately, this is no longer possible since Adobe unified the two applications. If you have two different versions then you might be able to do it, but not if it's the same one.
