Reading pdf's on my new PC?

New Here ,
Mar 01, 2017 Mar 01, 2017

I got a new HP PC with Internet Explorer.  When I open a pdf, it is in a screen that I cannot work with.  My old Asus PC worked differently in that I could open the pdf and even type onto the document and return it to the sender.  What do I need to do with this new PC in order to set it up like my old one?  I am at a loss.

Thank you.

Roger

Hi Rogers48588808,

As mentioned above, earlier when you were able to open the PDF files was it in the web browser or you had Adobe Acrobat installed?

Because you can edit the PDF only with the Adobe Acrobat service.

Please check if you have Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat installed?

If not, then you must install the Adobe Reader (free application) to view the PDF file.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions
