I have gone through the forum and found ways to split the PDF into separate pages, however, my Adobe ReaderXI does not have the Split or Separate option under Tools. My options are: Export PDF, Create PDF, Edit PDF, Send Files and Store Files. Under Edit PDF, my option is to buy an extra service to edit. Is this possible to do this without having to buy the Acrobat Pro option? I have hundreds of pages to scan and would like to be able to do this in the least amount of steps possible.

Hello Italia,
Adobe Reader is a freeware application and it is used to view, print, sign and annotate a PDF, extracting or splitting a PDF file cannot be done with Adobe Reader. For detailed information, you may refer to https://helpx.adobe.com/in/reader/faq.html
To extract PDF pages or split the pages in a PDF file, you have to subscribe to Acrobat Pro DC subscription/license. To know more about the features, refer to the articles https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/how-to/extract-pages-from-pdf.html

Hi, If you don't want to spend any penny to your PDF file and want to split them in multiple pages then you can try other completely free tools like ilovepdf.com, smallpdf.com, sodapdf.com or SysInfoTools PDF Split and Merge 2.0
you can try any of them, they all free.
