Whenever I convert a scanned or downloaded PDF to a word document the tables, signatures and various characters are all scrambled and out of sequence on the page. Am I leaving out a step? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance, it may just be operator error on my part.

Hi Donna

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the tables, signatures and various characters are all scrambled and out of sequence on the page when you export the PDF to Word format.

- Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

- What is the workflow/steps you are doing to export the PDF file.

- What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version 21.05.20048 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also try to repair the installation (Win Only) from the help menu. Go to Help > Repair Installation and check if that works

You may also try to export the PDF via Document Cloud -  https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/ and see if that helps.

Regards

Amal
