Secure forms

Explorer ,
Nov 09, 2018 Nov 09, 2018

I have proprietary forms that need to be “Secure”. When I secure them they work fine (fillable) on my desktop. The issue is that when I send the forms out and people try to fill them they are not fillable.

How do you secure the forms with Adobe security to protect the documents from being copied or used by other companies without your permission?

If you want the forms only to be usable for certain people then you need to use DRM protection, which is very expensive.

Secure "protecting people's information" You need to use a web based solution based on https and provided by a professional offering best practice.

Secure "cannot be copied". Impossible.

Cannot be filled when sent: you must send exact instructions to the user. Don't expect PDF files to work in their email or on your web site. They must be opened in Reader.

I have created Adobe forms that have unique functionality for my industry. Looking to protect the documents from use by larger companies. Basically protect my IP.

When the forms are sent to a mobile device and opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader they are not fillable. On my desktop they are fillable in Adobe.

They are fillable on mobile devices that have Adobe Acrobat installed on them. For some reason the field are not fillable when they are “Secured” using the Protect function.

I guess what I meant to and should have said was, they are not fully supported on mobile. Some things may not work.
