Hi Olivier,

I'm sorry about your troubles. To be able to help you, we would need to have more information on your system and Acrobat.

Please state:

  • your OS and version
  • your Acrobat and version
  • your e-mail program and version.

It would be also helpful to know if it is a stand-alone machine or of the computer is working in a networked environment.

I also have same issue:

Acrobat reader: Continuous release Acrobat DC Reader 2018.009.20050

Operating System: Windows 10 1709 16299.125

Default Mail is set properly in Windows 10 as "Outlook 2010", and also shows up as default mail program in Acrobat Reader (even tried removing and re-adding Outlook 2010 in acrobat reader)

We ran Acrobat reader "repair" option, and pressing the mail button in Acrobat reader, nothing happens

this worked for me: (just found the answer myself and tried it)

run a repair on Office/Outlook installation. reboot.  all back to normal.

i.e.: go to settings, select office, select modify, select repair

that did the trick for us

Thanks for your solution, it did work for one of my users. On another (myself) does not seem to recognize or work with Microsoft Mail UWP app set as default.

In hindsight I think it's worth trying to reboot the affected PC first, before running outlook repair (since the repair forced a reboot)

@michaelm7180426

Do you have any users still affected by this, and can you try a simple reboot? And let us know if that alone was able to fix it?

thnx in advance
