How can I set the default paper size for printing to A4 ? (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 64-bit, Win 10). It's pretty boring having to go to 'Properties' and use the pull-down menu for every new use of Acrobat Reader. And even worse it I forget and the size comes out wrong.

Hello Nick,
I hope you are doing well.
As per the description, I understand that you want to keep the page settings to A4.
Generally, when you change the settings for printing a document, the grounds are saved. So, the next time you print any copy, the previously used settings are saved and used.
For more information, please click the link: Advanced PDF print settings, Adobe Acrobat
Let me know if it helps.
Thanks,
Souvik.

Hello Souvik, thanks for this.
I don't often print much so it's rare that I return to printing the same document, and I don't know what happens then. However, whenever I open a different file for printing, it reverts to some other paper size format, when I know the only one I ever require is A4. So effectively every time I use Adobe reader to print I have to go through the same procedure to tell it not to use 11.5 x 8 or whatever. Is there a way to change the default?
Thanks in anticipation,
-Nick

Hi Nick,
Sorry for the delayed response. So, there are settings within the system through which you can change the settings for the paper print.
You can refer to the above picture to get the location for the settings and set A4 as the default there for the printer you use.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Souvik.
