Set pdfs documents to have "open" option when using Chrome?

I have been using Chrome for several years. All of a sudden, when I download an adobe pdf document from the internet, I no longer have the option of opening the document. Instead, I get the "save to" screen, and have to download it to a folder, then open it.

Nothing in Chrome appears to have changed, so something in adobe must have changed. How can I revert to the prior setting, which automatically downloaded the document, and showed it at the bottom left of my screen, and I could open it from that location, and either save it, or delete it?

It is highly annoying to have to "save" and then find and open every single pdf I open, as I open dozens and dozens per day.
