From time to time the signature (and I'm just talking about the hand drawn one) saved into Adobe Reader just goes missing. Yes, it's an easy fix to just add it back, however it will sometimes do it multiple times in a day - which slows down productivity.
Tried updating to the latest version (2022.001.20169) however the issue persists.

Are you referring to the signature you add under the Fill & Sign tool?
This should not happen. Please ensure that you mark the Save signature box when adding a new signature. Check the screenshot below:
If that does not help, try once repairing the application installation. Go to help> Repair Installation in the application.
You may also try a fresh installation of the application.
Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html). Reboot the machine and reinstall the application from this page: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/.

You are correct: It is the fill and sign signature that randomely goes missing.
We disable the repair option, so for now that is out of the question.
I have tried uninstalling (just from the control panel) and reinstalling the latest version (from a few days ago) with the same results: the user's signature will go missing. It will even go missing from one PDF to the next.
Example: User will put their signature in, and then 2 PDFs later it is missing again.
I will try the cleaner tool that you mentioned and post my results.

If the issue persists, it would be helpful if you do a screen recording of the issue of creating the signature and then how it goes missing after opening 2-3 PDFs.
