Hi.
One one document signed with Global Sign DSS, the certificate is suddenly corrupted. What could be the reason.
it shows a red cross on the signature
Summary shows
this signature is invalid because there are errors in formatting or information contained in the signature
Signature contains incorrect, unrecognized, corrupted or suspicious data
Signdict/Contents illegal data
Can you suggest how to recover the certficate. this document was signed in June 2020.
File is attached for investigation.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the message for invalid signature on the PDF file.
As mentioned the document is signed by Global Sign DSS, please try to sign the PDF via Adobe Acrobat/Raeder DC application and check if that helps.
When you receive a signed document, you may want to validate its signature(s) to verify the signer and the signed content. Depending on how you have configured your application, validation may occur automatically. Signature validity is determined by checking the authenticity of the signature’s digital ID certificate status and document integrity

i am aware of what you are saying.
however, i would like to know what could be potential reasons why signer certificate gets corrupted for a document which has been signed already.
