small boxes in the background of text

Hi, recently my Acrobat Reader is working very strange.   If I open a pdf book or tax statement or any document, the background of the text instead of blank background, it shows page will with small boxes.  If it is not in the background of the text it is outside of writing text... I never used to see these small boxes anywhere on my acrobat reader.  

I am opening acrobat reader on MacBook Pro and it never had this issue before.

    Hi Sasamd,

    As shared above, that you have started experiencing this problem all of the sudden. So is there any changes that you have applied to the application or its updated to the latest version?

    If not, then try installing the latest update. Launch Acrobat Reader>Help>Check for update

    Or if that doesn't fix the problem then use cleaner tool to remove the application completely- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

    and download it through- Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

    Let us know if that doesn't help.
