when I open a pdf file. It opens and closes in a fraction of seconds. As a result, I can't view that file. It happens to each and every file. I tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it. At first, it works fine, but later same thing happens continuously

Hi Hiteshg,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query.

If you are still experiencing the same problem then you may try the following steps and let us know if that helps-

Uninstalling is the process of just removing or deleting an application from electronic devices. However, it doesn't remove the application's files and old traces. In that case you may-

1-  Use cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs to uninstall the application once and then re-download it through Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

2- If it still doesn't make any difference, then after uninstalling the app you may try installing it in ""Hidden Admin" account (Windows) or "Root Account" (MAC) How to enable the root user on your Mac or change your root password - Apple Support

Do let us know the latest on this and if you have managed to find the solution for this problem then please do share your findings.

Regards,

Akanchha
