Is it possible to split PDF files with
Acrobat Reader? If yes, I would like to know if there is a feature that allows
to name each file automatically while splitting the files. For example,
if I have a file of 10 pages ( which contains invitation with names of
10 different persons) and I split each page to one file (total of 10 PDF files
- one file for each person) and I would like for each file to be named by the person's
name, is there a customized feature that can assist with naming each PDF file
(instead if numbering each PDF file)?

thanks.....can you share how. I am trying to split a 100 page document of letters into a two page letter for each person. So far I con only find how to split the document into smaller sizes. Anyway each letter can be renamed at the same time.......maybe pushing my luck there.

It requires using a custom-made script. Splitting each two pages is relatively easy, but identifying the name of the person and saving it under that name is very tricky, and sometimes not possible at all. Without seeing some sample pages we can't tell you for sure if it will work in your case.

SodaPDF performs the task about which you are inquiring. It allows you to extract one or more pages into a separate file; it performs rearranging of pages as well, if desired. The extracted pages have the file name "xxx.extract.pdf", but you can rename it once it is saved. The original file remains intact. To perform extraction of EVERY page as separate files, you would have to extract ONE page, go to the folder and rename it, then repeat that process for every page, because they all get initially saved as xxx.extract.pdf and they would overwrite one another if you didn't rename then each time.
Hope that helps.
